Frequently Asked Questions

Do you need an FFL to order gun parts online?

No, you do not need an FFL to order gun parts from a parts dealer online. In fact, you don't even need a firearms permit to purchase most individual components online. There are a few exceptions, such as frames and receivers. In states with strict gun control laws, such as California, frames and receivers are legally treated the same as assembled firearms. They must be purchased from an FFL dealer.

Why should I shop for gun parts for sale?

The main reason you should shop for gun parts is to save money. Buying a whole new gun for an upgraded trigger or other component isn't necessary. By swapping the part yourself, you get the equivalent of a next-gen firearm without having to buy one.

Can I order gun parts online and have them delivered to my home?

You can have most parts that are not frames or receivers delivered directly to your home. However, different states may have their own regulations and require a firearms permit and an FFL transfer to your local FFL dealer. Check your local regulations before placing your order.
