What is the point of an AK pistol?

AK handguns put the power of a rifle caliber into a small gun someone can easily control. It's like the inverse of pistol-caliber carbines: instead of pistol caliber rounds in a rifle-like firearm, it's rifle rounds in a handgun.

Should I get the Micro Draco?

This Romanian pistol has two main use cases: home self-defense and as a "fun gun" to take out shooting. If either (or both) of these apply to your needs, great! You should definitely get the Draco. While the AK-47 is adaptable and easily serviceable, it isn't "modular" like an AR-15. The AK-47, however, was designed to be simple, inexpensive, and easy to mass-produce. Stock AKs don't have any kind of modular accessory system (other than a side rail with some models); aftermarket parts are necessary to add even something as basic as an optic.

If you want simplicity, use an AK pistol or rifle. If you want customizability, use an AR.

Are your semi-auto handguns for sale legal?
