Cobra Enterprise Inc 38 Special Guns for Sale

The standard Derringers have a reputation for being easy to conceal but lacking the firepower to do much damage. .38 Special derringers change that. These derringers cram two big-bore .38 Special cartridges into a palm-sized gun, ensuring you don't have to compromise on size if you want a pistol that packs a punch. Frequently Asked Questions

Did Cobra Enterprises, Inc. go out of business?

In 2020, the Utah-based arms manufacturer Cobra Enterprises, Inc. declared bankruptcy. Cobra guns are now only available from third-party dealers. Bearman Industries bought the rights to their derringer production. Big Bore and Classic Derringer models were later sold to Old West Firearms.

How far does a .38 Special derringer shoot?

With a handle the size of a few fingers (at most) and small sights, derringers are short-range weapons. That range shrinks even more with big bore cartridges like the .38 Special, which have a significant kick that makes the derringer hard to control. While trained shooters may be able to hit a target up to 25 yards away, it's best to use it at distances of 10 yards or less. It should be treated as an emergency weapon of last resort.

Can you ship Cobra guns to residential addresses?

No, we cannot. All firearm orders must be sent to your local FFL dealer for pickup. After it arrives at your dealer's business, you can pick it up from them.
