Just like the original, full-sized SR40, the Ruger SR40c Stainless is loaded with modern safety features like a 1911-style ambidextrous manual safety, internal trigger bar interlock and striker blocker, trigger safety, magazine disconnect, plus a visual and tactile loaded chamber indicator.
It comes with two magazines that provide options in both capacity and grip size. The standard magazine holds 9 rounds and features a flat bottom butt plate; a finger grip extension floor plate is also included. The second magazine features a grip adapter and holds 15 rounds, instantly transforming the smaller, compact grip into a full-sized grip.

The Ruger SR40c compact pistol weighs in at 23.40 oz. and features an overall length of 6.85”, a height of 4.61”, and the same slim 1.27” grip width (across safety levers) as the full-sized SR40. The 3.50” barreled pistol features an integral accessory rail that accommodates most lights and lasers.

Its easy to upgrade parts of the Sr40c as well
Love my new gun very fast service, shoots and handles great. This is now my carry gun. For the price my Ruger SR40c is great and I saved over $100. In the process of getting my wife a LC9s Ruger also saving a lot thanks.
I was leary about ordering a handgun online but my mind has changed completely. I ordered a Ruger SR40c on a Thursday afternoon, my local gun shop sent a copy of their FFL Friday morning and the gun was shipped Friday afternoon. I received it Tuesday afternoon and would have got it Monday but Fedex held it a day because it wasn't scheduled for delivery until Tuesday. The Ruger is more than I had hoped for. It is excellently built , breaks down very easy, and shoots fantastic. I was in law enforcement for over 30 years and carried a Sig and a Glock. In my humble opinion the Ruger beats them both. If I am in need of any more firearms then I will definitely order from Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore.
