(5 out of 5) Heavy trigger pull
by from Kenmore, NY on

I read a bunch of reviews and knew exactly what I was getting. A well designed 22 revolver with a very heavy trigger pull. I bought it because a semiautomatic won't cycle quiet loads or snake shot. It does everything I needed.

(5 out of 5) 8 Rounds of great fun.
by from Phoenix, AZ on

What a perfect gun for just plinking targets. The smooth light trigger pull makes it easy for grand kids to learn to shoot. Compact and light weight for CC. This is number 4 LCR in my Ruger collection, 2- 327s and a 38 Special. Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore makes it way too easy to buy everything guns with great dependable fast service and low prices. 5 Stars across the board.

(5 out of 5) Love this pistol
by from San Antonio, TX on

I bought this for my wife's birthday, but have been breaking it in before that day arrives. It arrived in perfect condition from SOSS to my local FFL. I have shot over 500 rounds prior to this review. The grips are very nice. I have large hands, but they afford a very comfortable grip. The trigger took about 50 rounds to get used to, as well as the sight picture. Very light weight, and quality machining on all parts. I am not a marksman, just a normal EDC person. Yesterday, at 9 yards, I shot 50 rounds: 36 were within 2, 10 within 3, and 4 at 4+. So for my wife's purposes or mine, that is accurate enough.

One thing: unlike other revolvers I've owned, this one's ejector is affected by certain brands of 22LR ammo. For instance, if I load Browning ammo, I cannot eject the spent casings unless I tap the ejector with a board or rubber mallet. Yet Federal has no such issues: can shoot and eject without problems for as many rounds as you wish. Love this pistol. The trigger became smoother and less stiff as I ran more rounds through it. Love it. Glad I bought it.

(5 out of 5) Ruger LCR 22

Mattress for my wife as a present. She couldn't be any more happier with the way shoots and handles. Unlike her semi-automatic that would jam occasionally, she loves the load and unload of this one. Easy for her concealed purse also.

(5 out of 5) Great gun!
by from Tampa, Florida on

Excellent handgun! I have shot over 2,000 rounds through it without any failures to fire. The only thing against it is that now I also have the Ruger LCR 327 Magnum, and I like that one even more than the LCR 22. The trigger action of the LCR 327 Magnum is about 3 pounds lighter than the LCR 22 LR, which makes it easier to shoot, and more fun. Although, the ammo cost is cheaper with the LCR 22LR. I like both guns very much. Prefer these guns over any semi-automatic pistols. More reliable, and because of its shape, easier to retrieve from a pocket or other. It is light, and accurate enough, and is a pleasure to carry, and shoot. Recommended!

(5 out of 5) Low price, free shipping & no CC fee
by from Scottsboro, AL on

Lowest price I could find on the net for a LCR-22, plus free shipping, no credit card fee. Bought on a Monday afternoon and received Thursday morning. Hard to beat and Jenny in Customer Service has a great sense of humor too.
