This M&P 9mm from Smith & Wesson has a stainless steel slide, coated in Durable PVD and with a Flat Dark Earth (FDE) finish. The M&P9 VTAC® is a result of Smith & Wesson and Viking Tactics teaming up to upgrade the M&P9 with high-end and high-performance features. The Viking Sights on this pistol were designed specifically for the M&P, and they are unlike any other sights on the market. In the design of the M&P, the needs of military and law enforcement were considered from every conceivable angle. No other polymer pistol offers this combination of versatility, durability and safety. To top it off, the M&P series is covered under Smith & Wesson’s Lifetime Service Policy.
The Viking Sight
The design of the Viking Sight will enhance your ability to close with and destroy the threat, day or night. The Viking Sight from Viking Tactics, Inc. features a tapered front sight that will draw you immediately to the correct aiming point. This sight is not only tapered for speed, but to help with accuracy at distance when needed. The tapered sight leads to an indestructible fiber optic that will help to drive your focus where it is needed. These sights are extremely fast.
The rear sight notch has also been cut lower than normal to not only enhance speed, but to allow the shooter to see the tritium vials that have been inserted below the fiber optic. The Viking Sight will allow you to have the fine aiming point that you want and need, coupled with fiber optic to help draw your attention. If the sun goes down you are now able to use the tritium that is slightly below the fiber optic.

Received the gun very quickly and it was as beautiful as I remembered. I took it out of the box, cleaned it and shot 450 rounds out of it without any issues. Sights are great and easy to become acclimated to. Extremely accurate and the best price that I've ever seen. SOS does it again with great customer service and a wonderful product, This is going to be my EDC. I love it and will continue breaking it in until I know 100% that I can trust this gun without fail.
