The 17 Mach 2 is a 22 Long Rifle case necked down to hold a 17 caliber bullet. It is not a variation of the 17 Magnum Rimfire and is not interchangeable with it. This ammunition is loaded with the polymer-tipped V-Max bullet which makes it up to 60% faster than a 22 Long Rifle round.
