Manufacturing error

These 10 round mags are well constructed and perform without a problem. However, they lack the load assist button. When I contacted S&W I was told that this omission was a production error. After the 6th round it is difficult to feed the small 22 caliber rounds into the mag. There is a blocking pin molded into the mag body which prevents pushing the follower to the bottom and adding the button.
