I have had this S&W Shield 9mm I bought from SOSS for 2 years now. It is my everyday carry. Cant beat it.

As always SOSS shipping was fast and package arrived at FFL in great shape.
As with all other S&Ws I have purchased fit and finish were great. Gun was a little stiff out of the box but broke in quickly. I have fired two brands of practice ammo and one brand of carry ammo Hornady Critical Duty 9mm +P with no issues.
Recoil is easily controllable due to the pistols ergonomics. No manual safety makes this model simple to operate.
A Shield 40 was my backup/off-duty prior to retiring from police work. It never failed and I expect the same from this Shield 9mm.
I first bought the S&W Shield 9mm with a safety. I then saw it with no thumb safety and bought it on the spot. The price and service was great. The gun was worth every dime!
I cannot say enough good things about this website. Ordered on Tuesday afternoon, received the Shield on Friday afternoon. The Shield feels great in the hand and is an excellent shooter. This will be my off duty/secondary weapon.
