The .22 rimfire handgun will never look the same. The P22 changed everything. Walther adapted the tactical styling and Performance Design concepts from their centerfire handguns and applied them to the .22 L.R. This created a new movement in the design of contemporary rimfire handguns … and an explosion of imitators. As a stylish, fun gun to own, the P22 is at home on the shooting range, around the camp or in a museum of modern art.

Second review is much better after running newer ammo thru this gun. Consistent performer. Will definitely be taking this gun to the range more often.

Great little plinker. Fouled out earlier than I had hoped for, but I was shooting 22LR that was at least 30 years old. I believe it will do better with newer ammo. $$$ well spent.

This is a great gun, especially for the price. I also own the Ruger SR22, and have to say that they are very close in comparison with the Ruger inching out in front just a little. Be patient with this gun. It's a little picky on ammo for the first 1-200rds. I've shot the following ammo thru it with no issues: Winchester white box, CCI mini mags, Remington golden bullets, federal American Eagle, and Aguila high velocity.
