(5 out of 5) Dependable
by from LEESBURG, GA on

I originally purchased this pistol for my wife, about six years ago. Unfortunately, she has developed severe arthritis and had to switch to a revolver. Her loss was my gain. I don't like to give a review, until I've had time to thoroughly put whatever it is through its paces. I carry this little thing around with me, nearly everywhere I go. Its small enough to conceal almost anywhere. So much so`;` that I often forget its on me, because its so comfortable to wear. I prefer the 9-round mag because it fits in my hand better and I can hold the muzzle more steady for quicker follow-up shots. I've put more than a thousand rounds through it, without a single jam, misfire, failure to feed, stovepipe, failure to eject, or anything else. I'm used to the heavy trigger and have no problems squeezing it. I shot the head clean off a moccasin, about a month ago, at roughly 15ft. The only additions have been tru-glow night sights and a laser. I highly recommend this pistol.

by from Mesa, AZ on

It’s extremely well made, shoots exactly where you point it, and has a fantastic trigger. A+++

(5 out of 5) Yes.
by from Vancouver, WA on

Great looking and great feeling pistol. Has so far performed flawlessly. I've fed multiple brands and weights of ammunition and they've all shot well. Exceptional trigger for any sized pistol. Sportsmans shipping and customer service was also excellent.

(5 out of 5) Very nice pistol
by from Dunlap, Tennessee on

This pistol really fits the hand very well; everyone that held this gun agrees. This pistol really points very well. I was impressed with how accurate I was with it, even unsupported. I only sent about 50 rounds through it but no issues. It was hitting about 1 inch to the left with some Remington 115 gr metal case ammo. I am very pleased with this gun and Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore.

(5 out of 5) Love My LC9s Pro
by from Winterville, NC on

I love everything about this gun. It is easy to break down. Not sure why people say that is difficult. I am ordering a second one. The trigger has ruined me now. It is the best trigger I have ever shot. Quick shipping too. Thanks! 600 rounds of Federal and Winchester with no issues at all!

(5 out of 5) Nothing to dislike!
by from College Station, TX on

This was my first 9mm, as my CC weapon has usually been a 45ACP. Reviews of the great trigger spurred me to investigate the LC9 Pro, and when I was able to shoot an LC9s, it confirmed Ruger had established a new level of fire control in a compact handgun, which alone provides more accurate performance. Zero failures in feeding and ejection. Went with the Pro, as my other defense weapons also do not have a manual safety.

(5 out of 5) Concealed Carry
by from Woodstock, IL on

By FAR the most comfortable concealed carry handgun that I've tried or own. Perfect weight and Ruger reliability are exactly what I was looking for; the moment I holstered this handgun it felt very natural and comfortable. Thanks SOSS for the great price and service.

(5 out of 5) Great Sub-Compact 9mm
by from Quad Cities, IA on

I had the original LC9 and the trigger was not good. I had the Galloway mod done on it and that helped a lot. This gun carries and conceals like the original, but the trigger is WAY better than even the Modified trigger on the former LC9. I shoot this much better and it is very accurate. Both this and the original would feed and fire hand loads out of mixed range-scrounged cases with out fail.

(5 out of 5) Ruger LC9S and Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore
by from Deerfield Beach, FL on

Love the gun. It feels great in had, accurate, no jams, and I shot over 300 rounds of Winchester, PMC and Federal ammo. So I love it.

My 1st experience purchasing from Sportsman Outdoor Superstore, and I must say, it was an excellent experience. Great price, fast shipping. I had my gun in my hands in 48 hours. I just ordered another handgun and had my friend order the same gun. Great people and company. I'll for sure be making more purchases through them.

(5 out of 5) Excellent Gun and Excellent Customer Service
by from Sallisaw, OK on

Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore is my go to online gun store. They have the best prices, fast shipping and excellent customer service. I purchased the Ruger LC9S Pro. It was a great value and free shipping. It's an amazing handgun. I highly recommend it for conceal carry.

(5 out of 5) COULDNT BE BETTER!
by from Sapphire, NC on

I have surfed many websites in search of a good online firearms purchase. S.O.S. is the best. The customer service and quick response as well as immediate action is excellent. The Ruger LC9 was purchased as a concealed carry gun, and it is superb. I searched and searched and found no one else had it in stock. S.O.S. did and it is excellent. I have fired over 50 rounds with it and so far, problem free. The whole transaction was excellent and I recommend both S.O.S. as well as the Ruger LC9 Pro!

(5 out of 5) Excellent
by from Elkton, Florida on

The Ruger LC9s Pro is an excellent choice for a concealed semi auto. Very lite and thin. Excellent improvement when Ruger went to the striker trigger. I have a Keltec sub 9mm, while a good small weapon it has a hard and long trigger pull. You can't go wrong with the Ruger LC9s Pro! And you can't go wrong with Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore! Best prices. Best service.

(5 out of 5) Perfect
by from pasadena, Texas on

When the lc9 first was released me and my wife went to try one out at our local gun range. We both loved everything about it except the trigger pull. Aft that we moved on looking for another pistol that we would like. Then Ruger released the striker version of the lc9 and we loved it and had to order one. When we found that it was also offered without any safeties other than the trigger we ordered it and have been loving it since.

(5 out of 5) Excellent CCW Handgun
by from Columbia, SC on

I love this thing. For the sake of brevity, assume everything about this handgun is great. With one small complaint, is the grip feels a bit thin for my large hands.

But I put some rubber texture Talon grip tape on, and it feels excellent.

The only reason to NOT get this pistol is because you really want an M&P Shield instead.

(5 out of 5) Ruger LC9S Pro
by from Georgetown, Texas on

This is the first time I have ever bought a firearm online & I am extremely pleased. The LC9S pro is great small compact yet still a 9mm. Great gun and great service from Sportsmans, won't be the last.

by from Overland Park, KS on

A sweet gun, I am very happy with. Trigger is great, sights are easy, talon grips fix only flaw.

(4 out of 5) Somewhat great
by from West Seneca, New York on

This gun has a really nice trigger, recoil is not too bad.

But unfortunately I have had a lot of FTEs from the start with Winchester and Federal ammo. Hornady and Remington seem OK in it. Oddly enough I ran some cheap Tul steel case that the gun extracts just fine.

So it went back to Ruger. Waiting about 3 weeks now for the return of this firearm. I guess they have a good size backlog of this issue to fix.
