Please Note: This Taurus handgun is factory reconditioned. It continues to carry the exclusive Taurus functional lifetime repair policy; however, this unit is no longer under warranty for any cosmetic blemishes or defects. This firearm was originally equipped with a plexiglass sideplate on the right side, however, the manufacturer replaced those sideplates with an aluminum sideplate.

This is an amazing little high end special purpose revolver that just didn't sell well. It was a pet project led by the President of Taurus at the time It was originally offered as the Taurus View with a clear acrylic plate over a polished trigger mechanism. It was offered for around $600 and didn't sell well. Taurus took what was left and put a titanium plate where the acrylic had been. The NoView version I bought here was new and never fired, but sold as reconditioned since the acrylic had been removed. It virtually disappears in your pocket and weighs 9 ounces plus whatever ammo you add. After some range time, no way Id carry +P in this light gun. Shooting standard 38 special was difficult enough to hold on to. This gun is not fun to shoot, but you will have it with you because it is soooo light. I carry 95 grain Critical Defense standard 38 Spc and the gun weighs about 11.5 ozs loaded. Taurus does not recommend +P for this revolver.
