This is 50 BMG military surplus ammunition that was traded in from a police department. The ammunition was manufactured in 1978 by Santa Bárbara Sistemas, one of the primary suppliers of the Military of Spain.
This ammunition was manufactured during the Basque conflict in Spain, in the same year the Spanish Constitution was enacted - which led to their current democratic state, along with their induction as a member of NATO.
Most rounds are the silver-tipped M8 Armor Piercing Incendiary cartridge, with every fifth round being the M20 Tracer variant of the M8 cartridge. Due to the age of the ammunition, there is no guarantee that the tracer rounds will still glow.
Being that this is military surplus ammunition, and due to the age, every round should be carefully inspected before using. We also recommend cleaning your firearm before and after the use of any military surplus ammunition.
