Glock 23 Gen3 40 S&W Police Trades (Good Condition)

i received this Glock 23 in a timely manner it shipped with the Glock box and 2 13 round magazines and fs sites. Glock is just like new i see no wear on initial analysis and i am happy with my purchase i have referred Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore to many of my friends since this purchase and plan on doing business in the future.

Very happy with my purchase. Gun had very little wear. Just some on the slide from a holster. After a good cleaning it looked great.

Have been debating for some time now about buying an online police trade-in; Glock sight unseen. Well, decided to take a chance and see how it worked for me. Purchased a good condition Glock 23 Gen 3 back on 24 Oct that shipped and arrived at my local dealer on 27 Oct. The store employee knew what was being delivered for me so he had it waiting for me when I walked in the door. He said to me what condition is this Glock supposed to be in I replied that it was advertised as good and said why. He stated that it was in incredible condition and, that several staff members gave it a look and struggled to find any evidence of any wear at all... He said it was so clean that they questioned if more than 4 or 5 rounds had ever gone through it. It is one amazing Glock for sure. I could not be any happier with the entire process from ordering to actually getting it in hand. I will not hesitate to make additional purchases in the future. Just awesome. The gun was in decent shape, but was dirty and dusty internally and externally. The gun came in wrapped in a folded brown paperbag, horrible packaging! Shot about 100 rounds, with atleast 5 failure to ejects. Will clean in out and lube it up to see how it does

 Recap- Gun looked pretty, but had numerous issues. Sticky, rough trigger pull, and unusual internal wear. Issues with gun were resolved with SOSS fantastic customer service! Thank you! I will not hesitate to recommend you to others!

Gun arrived in bubble wrap. General appearance was ok. Minor wear and scratches. Basic Glock sights. Touching the gun was gross. It had a very sticky finish, like it had been left next to a deep fryer for the last 5 years. Touching it left a heavy greasy residue on my hands. The magazine in the gun would not release when pressing the mag release. It was also greasy. I attempted to clean the frame with dish soap and hot water to degrease it. After several attempts it still has a sticky feel and splotchy white residue appeared all over the frame. Rubbing alcohol and a lot of wiping has removed the white spots, but the frame is still a bit sticky. The gun has a very heavy trigger pull for a Glock. I shoot a double action revolver as a reference. So I broke down the upper and found that there was a lot of unusual wear. Taking out the extractor/striker retaining pin I notice it was missing a spring. Further inspection showed the spring was there but was jammed in the slot sideways, obviously from being poorly reassembled by the previous owner. Once corrected the slide appears to action smoother. But trigger still feels heavy. I will test fire it in a couple days. Until then, I am pretty unhappy with the gun and the greasy filmy residue I have on my hands as I type this.

I would say mine was on the lower side of good. It was very dirty inside and out. Came in a Ziploc bag inside a FedEx box; that's it. After a good cleaning, it looks better. There was severe holster wear on the slide. It also had a good wear on the back of the polymer near the slide. Functionality is solid. It is what they said it was. I was just hoping to get one of the gems that others mentioned in previous posts.

I could not possibly be more pleased with everything regarding my buying experience. The ease of the purchasing process, the price, the pistol in far better condition than I expected. I wish the rest in my life would work as well...

This was my third purchase from SOS of a LE trade in. Original order took 5 days to ship, not super happy about that. When the gun arrived, I gave it a quick check at the FFL. It was cherry. No holster wear. No carbon. Very little wear on the barrel. Stock sights. I was happy. Got it home to clean it, and noticed 1 of the 4 guides that hold the slide to the receiver was MISSING. Would be dangerous to fire. They paid for postage to return it. The replacement is just as cherry, and this time included a Glock box, and an extra magazine. All for $339, a steal. So, they made it right. However, I did have to pay the FFL fee twice. Lesson learned: Check the firearm carefully at the FFL before you accept it!

This gun is about as near new as you can get. My FFL was taken back when he saw it. The reviews and price were what did it for me. I'm totally pleased with this purchase!

The pistol received looked like it had been very lightly used with some carbon residue in the slide and on the business end of the frame. The finish is very nice and to me looks like it was never carried. Condition is very good to excellent. Came with two LE marked magazines with little to no wear and both dropped free. This is a good bang for the buck purchase especially if you catch them on sale.

I am always pleased with the level of screening that Sportsmans uses for its used firearms. Amazing quality. You wonder if the police ever go to the range! I am starting to think I practice more. I am a loyal customer. Thank you!

I just received my police trade Glock 23 Gen 3 yesterday. Gun looks great. Just a lil holster wear on slide, but besides that, nice gun. Received it a week after I purchased. Customer service was great and responded promptly. Definitely will buy from Sportsmans Outdoors Superstore again.

Ordered my 23 on a Thursday and Paid extra to receive next day. Awesome pistol. Night Sights were bright and pistol was in good overall condition. Plan on doing a few upgrades.
