The Hornady RAPiD Safe 2600 is a revolutionary design. It includes RFID activated by wristband, key fob or sticker that instantly opens the spring-assist lid. Up to five RFID tags can be programmed, and it is also accessible by conventional key lock.
The RAPiD Safe is also certified child resistant, and exceeds ASTM international safety standards for child and pry resistance, lock strength, drop/pick/saw tests and hinge attack resistance. The heavy-duty tamper proof construction is housed in thick 14 gauge steel with two internal handened locking lugs. The AC and battery power ensures your handgun is protected and ready to go 24/7.
The included cable allows the safe to be secured in virtually any location. The safe also meets TSA requirements for handgun safety in checked luggage.
