Introducing the P938 BRG Two-Tone. The first 1911-inspired 9mm microcompact by SIG SAUER®. This lightweight, all-metal pistol builds on the trusted P238® platform, delivering accuracy and reliability with duty caliber performance.
This is the worst functioning pistol I have ever owned. It tries to double feed and jams. The pin that holds the slide on will fall out when racking the slide with the pistol turned. I had to not carry it +1 the one day I carried it to the range. Sig seems to think this is acceptable and was no help with customer service. I traded it for a Glock 43 and feel like I still owe the guy my truck and two horses. I did explain to him all the issues. The only thing positive I can say is it feels good in hand. The bad thing is I will have a hard time ever convincing myself to try another Sig pistol. Save your time and money.
I carry this as a back up on patrol. At qualifications, this little power house drove nails. Very instinctive and comfortable to carry and shoot. Well worth the $$ and it is a Sig so you know there is quality.
Excellent gun, put many rounds through no jams or FTFS. Accurate right out of box. Good price. Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore made it easy. Shipped in a few days.
The pistol is very light but suffer with heavy recoil. Accuracy out to 10 yards was exceptional considering its size. Using white box Winchester 115 grain and Winchester HTP same weight shots were well within the center of standard silhouette at 10 yards. Much tighter at 5 yards. Sights are superb in all light. Did not see the need to purchase the more expensive models. Conceals in both pants pockets and IWB Crossbreed holster extremely well. Though it is a lint magnet when you are carrying it in a pocket holster. Much worse than with a revolver. Another note, if you cycle it by hand it will not eject the sixth round. If you fire it, this is not an issue. I have seen posts on the internet claiming issues with the sixth round feeding, I suspect this is where it comes from. To date, I have fired over 300 rounds through it without a single malfunction.
I shot 2 mags with this P938 Sig and it was so so .Then I changed my grip and the gun became part of my right hand. James Bond doesn't have a gun like this.
I had purchased a M&P Shield 9mm for my EDC. I HATED that gun and sold it within 2 months. I bought this Sig P938 from SOSS. Price was VERY competitive, and with the expedited shipping, I was picking it up from my FFL in 2 days. Gun arrived quick and in perfect condition. I have bought other guns from SOSS, and so far, have been happy to do business with them.
Read a lot about this little gun and I got to say I am very happy with it. Only thing I have to tell people is that you want to try different ammo in it. Some brands shoot way better than others. I think you will be happy with it. Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore had a great price compared to other online stores, and even local shops. I will use them again for sure.
Great performance. No issues. Great accuracy. Perfect.
I've put several hundred rounds through this model and absolutely no problems. Very accurate and it's a 3-inch barrel. Easy to control, even for my wife. Sights are very visible and easy to pick up. Came with its own Kydex holster. I own several other subcompact 9mm pistils, and this is one of my favorites!
Awesome deal on this SIG P938. Excellent service and shipping was spot on. Of course the gun performs flawless.......
This is one of the finest pistols out of the 40 plus pistols that I have ever owned.
I have CCW'd this 938 for 3 months now and love it. Sold my Ruger LCP .380 and upgraded to the Sig Sauer P938 9mm. The size and weight difference in concealed carry is negligible. Took it out shooting at 7 yards, and sent a round down range. X ring. Everyone said that's a heck of an opening shot. Shot 50 more rounds into the X and 10 ring 3-4 inch group. First time shooting a Sig and I was impressed. Switched targets and another 50 rounds into a 2-3 inch group, made a nice hole in the target. The range master called me a show off. I smiled and said it's a Sig. A few weeks later, went shooting after I cleaned the 938 thoroughly. This is why I give it 4 and not 5 stars. It's a 5 star gun by all means. Slide is easy to pull back, trigger is crisp, reset is nice, mags load and drop free easily, awesome night sights. I love this gun. NOW.. 40 rounds into second range trip and on video I get hit in the face with something. It falls on the range bench, I look down and say wt#... Look at the Sig. It's open slide, no jam or stove pipe. It's the connecting rod from the slide. It exited the gun hit the roof of the range and came down and hit me in the left cheek. Called Sig and I got a new one being sent to me. Excellent customer service.. And yes, they know about this issue. I was told due to small size and punishing recoil of the 9mm in this pocket gun, the recoil 2 piece rod can unscrew and eject itself from the gun. I wish I would have tried to see if it would still function, or did this leave the 938 useless. To fix it, I was told to put Blue Lock-tight on it. Also, I should do it to my grip screws, I was told I am upgrading to a Sig Ultra 9mm. I was assured that it is a total different setup, and won't happen to the Sig Sauer Ultra. Now the Sig 938 sits in the glove box as a pocket gun for when I walk into a store in shorts.
Was looking for a small 9mm for pocket carry. Reviewed all the usual small 9mm handgun candidates and decided on the Sig P938. Great decision! Perfect size for the pocket. Very little felt recoil. Fired 1st 200 rounds at the range with no issues whatsoever. Came with 2 magazines and at a good price for a Sig. Quality gun! SOSS did a great job of getting the gun to my local FFL quickly. Completely satisfied with this purchase and with SOSS.
This is a great handling and shooting pistol. The Sportsman Outdoors Superstore had the best price and they shipped it fast. I have ordered four firearms from them and plan on ordering more.
This is a great looking gun. The 2 tone finish looks even better in person. Even with slightly large/medium sized hands, this was very easy to grip and control. Would definitely recommend.
