The XD-40 has a great grip and is a perfect fit for someone with large hands. After 100 rounds of FMJ and some JHP I havent had any failures. The XD-40 is very accurate and easy to handle.
Finally got an opportunity to go to the range had to wait for my communist governor to give his covid 19 permission. Right outta the box this weapon is absolutely perfect! Best thing is the trigger - smoooooth and the break and reset are exactly where I want them to be. Minimal recoil and muzzle climb and the grip grip zone! fits my hand also perfectly. I burned through a box of Winchester 165gr Field Grade ammo with zero function problems. I always loved my Springfield 1911A1, now I have even more reason to love them. Great Job!
