The P225A Classic Carry is a remarkable pistol from the Sig Sauer line. This beautiful pistol retains the exceptional look and feel of the original P225, but features an enhanced Short Reset Trigger and the precision manufacturing and quality from the state-of-the-art Sig Sauer facility. The P225A Classic Carry comes with three 8-round magazines, making it a great option for concealed carry. Siglite night sights and G-10 grips round out the tactical feel on this one-of-a-kind pistol.
This P225 A-1 may not have the reputation that the P226/229 has due to increased capacity, but I can tell you this is one great carry firearm. It is my EDC choice. Love the aesthetics, finish and fit are a plus, plus. Totally reliable, very accurate, manageable recoil. G10 grips, under-cut trigger guard, Sig night sights, and super smooth DA/SA short reset trigger. 8 round magazines do not bother me at all... I always carry a spare. Great Customer Service from SOSS. Becoming a repeat customer.
Picked the Sig P225 up for Cyber Monday. This item is a tack driver. Groups at 10 yds under a quarter. Have had over 10 people hold the pistol and they all want to fire it. The G10 scales are amazing and have a positive grip. The night sights are superb, even in strobe flashing light at the range. Price is crazy. Other places have a base model for $1030. This has the G10, night sights and and 3 mags. Cant beat it. I will definitely be ordering more from Sportsman.
Great price and superb service as always from SOS.com. Bought it to have a Sig single stack 9mm for carry purposes. I wanted the slimmer profile, lighter weight and smaller size than my MK25. I have pretty big hands but it still feels good and it shoots like a Sig - very reliable and very accurate. My daughter also shot it and likes its fit to her hand. We tore a ragged hole where the bulls-eye used to be at 25 feet I know, feet and not yards, but who goes to the range and shoots minuscule groups at 25 yards except Deltas or Seals. Truth be told, she probably shot better than me. Love the pistol. I also have and like the Sig 516, 1911, 227, and 320, so I am Sig biased although I dislike their 22s - the 1911-22, Mosquito, and 522 all gave me quality issues. Throw away their 22s but this new one is my favorite small Sig and I will like likely shoot it as much as my two favorites, the MK25 had the SRT put in and action smoothed at Sig and everybody in my family loves it and the 1911 it shoots way better than my mediocre skill level allows.
