I like it so much I bought the all stainless steel model. Not crazy about the laser. I had to send it back because it would move. I like the sights vs laser on this model. Very accurate. I like it better than my shield.

Can't compare this to the cheap polymer pocket guns. This thing is in a different league. Crisp trigger, solid construction, the craftsmanship is amazing. Practically no recoil. I took all my pocket guns to the range:  LCP II, TCP, Bodyguard when the SIG arrived. After I left the range, I wanted to throw the polymers out; well maybe not the LCP II, but you get my point. This model comes with 3 mags, a laser and a holster. The quality of the laser and holster are good, I am not sure why someone complained. Its just like any other firearm laser you get off Amazon. The only problem is that the lasers on/off button is difficult to press. The holster that comes with it has an auto on/off laser feature build into it. But if you decide to carry this thing in the pocket, that's not really useful. The sights on this thing are NOT the Sig night sights, but still very good. This is my first SIG, and it has turned me into a SIG fan boy.

First, thanks Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore for shipping quickly. I received the pistol faster than I anticipated. I eyed the P238 for several months, as a prospective backup. Price, compared to similar-sized pistols, was a factor. That is, until I saw SOS offer for this setup. As others noted, it seemed hard to believe that a package containing a great Sig, with 3 magazines, a laser and holster could be so reasonably priced. The pictures on the SOS website and elsewhere don't do this P238 justice; the two-tone looks great.

But, on to what matters: reliability and accuracy. When I picked it up at the FFL, I did a quick field strip and cleaning. I also installed the Viridian laser in about 2 minutes. I made adjustments to align the beam with the sights and was ready to zero. It took 9 rounds to get on target. After that, I made minor adjustments as I moved my target from 7 to 10 to 15 to 20 yards. I could not have asked for a better out of box system experience. I proceeded to put 200 rounds through it Hornady critical defense and Federal 90 grain. Both cycles flawlessly and were well within an acceptable range of accuracy. There is virtually no felt recoil, meaning I stayed on target after each shot and the trigger pull was just right for me.

What I did not like: 1 the steel sights are pretty low quality; I will be replacing them. 2, the laser gets hung up in the holster most of the time and is OWB; I will replace that, too. Those are minor consolations for an otherwise outstanding setup for such a low price.

Wife loves this gun. Perfect concealed carry gun for her. Grumpys Guns who handled the transfer was exceptional.
