Smith & Wesson M&P40 40 S&W Full-Size Police Trade-ins (Good Condition)

So I picked this gun up for $279.99 in very good condition this gun came in with no holster marks no wear on the barrel and no damage or scratches to the polymer frame. I would not be able to differentiate the difference between this gun and a brand new one. I I would highly recommend this to competent individual. The only thing that people may not like is that there is a magazine disconnect. This means that the trigger is unable to be used when the magazine is out of the gun. This isn't a huge issue but it is annoying. Although there are some videos on YouTube that will easily show you how to remove. It's not that hard and all you need is some punches and a spring from a pen or pencil. I have just over 5 years of law enforcement experiance as well as 4 years in tactical and CQB training / instructing. I'm also a Glock fanboy as well as a huge fan of 9mms so for me to purchase this firearm was out of my element. At the end of the day I'm still carrying my Glock regularly, this weapon hardly comes out of the safe. But If you are on a budget and you can't afford a Glock go ahead and get one of these. At the same time if you cant afford a Glock that means you probably cant afford to shoot a 40 so consider the M&P 9. 9mm is more affordable and will be able to give you more of an opportunity to get out and train. I purchased a used surplus handgun after completing purchased went back to check and realized I had gotten the last one, well not expecting much, but to my surprise is a very nice weapon with a little holster wear and looks like not very fired much. i am very pleased with purchase.

Received promptly in three days. Pistol came with no box, just the gun and the second magazine. No additional backstroke. Holster wear at the front of the slide which is noticeable. Finish worn at the slide lock and take down lever. Rust along the front and rear sights and the scallops on the right side of the slide. Barrel hadnt been cleaned and slight brown stain visible in the rifleling. Ive bought other LEO used guns from SOSS and have been very impressed. This pistol isnt representative of SOSS usual rating grading representation.

Took this out today and ran a box of ammo through it. Only one stove pipe, but I may have limp wristed that volley. But, all in all, pretty accurate and pleased . But, for a used P.D. weapon, the price is a little high. Overall, its a truck gun, so Im a happy camper.

Fast 2-day shipping, and the firearm I received came in a mint factory S&W case that looked like it was just opened. The .40 cal itself was in near-pristine condition, with only extremely minor holster wear visible. This M&P is in super shape! It's very hard to find any wear at all. This is probably the best deal I've ever gotten purchasing a used firearm. I plan on buying another if they're available in a few months.

Gun had minor holster wear. Came with factory case and 3 mags. Trijicon night sights have plenty of glow. Really didn't have to clean gun because it was already spotless. Gun had mag disconnect installed but only took a couple minutes to remove. Shot 150 flawless rounds and Im very happy with my purchase. Will definitely do business with Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore again.

I purchased the M&P 40 which was described in good condition. SOSS did not disappoint me. The pistol was clean, oiled, and there was hardly any visible wear. No buyer's remorse here! Did I mention the pistol came with trijicon night sights.

This police trade M&P .40 should not be rated good, its Fair at best. Mine had light pitting already started on the slide, that alone should never be classified as Good condition. The night sights are dead but thats kind of to be expected. The good news is the frame is in good shape and it looks to have been fired very little. Be aware this gun also has a magazine disconnect safety. I ether missed that or it was not stated in the description. That could be a deal breaker for some.

I just received 2 of these. They are practically new. They have very light holster wear to the top of the slides. Both had night sights, but they are getting pretty dim. They came with 2 mags, but did not come with replacement backstraps. One had a small backstrap, the other medium. Both of the guns that I received have test fire dates in December 2012. Guns were also shipped promptly. I am VERY pleased with my purchase.
