This is a great compact little .45 ACP that I use to carry when im off duty. Its very concealable. I've shot several different types of ammunition through it including 200 gr. LSWC, Copper plated SWC, round nose as well as Speer Gold Dot. I've never had a failure to fire, failure to feed, or failure to eject. I'm not recoil sensitive, but the 200 grain Speer Gold Dot is a +P round and its got some recoil to it. I've even used this weapon to shoot some local IDPA matches.
Slim form factor of a 9mm with the punch of a 45 slug! Light and fun to shoot. I have tried all sorts of ammo , it feeds all kinds of .45 acp , flawless weapon.
The new S&W M&P Shield .45 is just another excellent handgun from Smith and Wesson. I had the .40 and decided to add the .45 to the collection, and I'm glad I did! Very soft shooter with 230 gr ball ammo and no hiccups whatsoever after 100 rds. Incredibly accurate! Sight picture is very clear, and it is very easy to handle with one hand in tactical situations!
Although, I have not shot this one yet, but this one will complete my M&P Shield collection. 9,40,45 I will be going to an indoor range while on vacation next week and will put a few hundred bangs through it. One cant go wrong with an S&W M&P. I will keep you posted on a range report. I cant say enough great things about SOSS. They are number one in my firearms book. They've never let me down with quality guns.
