(5 out of 5) Do Your Research And You Won't Be Disappointed
by from Cocoa, FL on

I am very happy with this gun. I am new to shooting, and so I read many, many reviews as well as forum content regarding the negatives surrounding the Mosquito and the mostly positives surrounding the Firefly. I read far enough to find plenty of people saying that when GSG decided to manufacture the gun and market it themselves, they addressed many of the jamming issues that made the Mosquito so unpopular. I picked it today from my local shop, took it home and easily disassembled it, cleaned it, oiled it, and reassembled it. Then I went to my local indoor range and fired about 300 rounds through it. Not a single jam or stovepipe. I use CCI ammo because I had seen in a video that GSG recommends CCI for this gun. While that might be a deal breaker for some, it is not for me. This gun has a very light trigger pull, and feels good in my hand. The finish is flawless. My Firefly did not come with an owners manual, but I found it online at GSG's website and I have it on my iPAD. It is not very clear to a novice such as myself diagrams are lacking, but luckily we have many competent people putting out videos on YouTube that will help people like me to learn how to safely disassemble, clean, and maintain our firearms. So yeah: I'm very happy with this purchase.
