(5 out of 5) 308 Springfield
by from Selden, NY on

As far as my rifle collection goes, the newest addition: Springfield M1A 308 is not only a well engineered rifle form a well established company, it is also a beauty with wood grained stock that draws a crowd whenever I'm out at the range. Since I have issues walking I shoot at 50 yrs with only the iron sights and the grouping is dead center. I have the rifle mounted on a tripod and a clamp on muzzle brake which really helps out keeping the front end of the rifle down on the bench. You can certainly feel the recoil so keep it tucked into your shoulder. All in all, you will not be displeased if you're in the market for one. I researched numerous sites on pricing and Sportsman's was the Best!
