I decided to buy a 300 blackout for a new deer hunting rifle this year. I bought a 30-06 for deer hunting in 1993 and have used that every year until this year. I spent a lot of time reviewing ammunition for deer hunting with a 300 blackout. I decided to go with these 150 grain Winchester bullets.
I had the opportunity to shoot a large eight pointer this year running at 100 yards and I hit it with one shot right through the heart and it died in its tracks. I just ordered three more boxes of the same ammo and will be using this for short range deer hunting moving forward. I was very impressed and would definitely recommend this round for deer hunters. No complaints and it stopped this deer in his track.
hands-down the most reliable ammo for deer hunting I have found for my .300 blk. Ive taken deer at 50 and 75 yards no issues with this ammo. I specifically ONLY use Win Deer Hunter Xp now.
I have used this, other calibers, ammo in the past. Recently picked up a new 300 AAC, so why not give XP a try in this caliber? Cycled flawlessly and was a great price. Shipped and arrived quickly.
