Introducing the Taurus SPECTRUM™—a groundbreaking new micro-pistol designed, engineered and manufactured in the USA. Its breakthrough design completely reimagines the concealed carry experience. Delivering better comfort, better responsiveness and better control.
Bridging design with ergonomics, the Taurus SPECTRUM™ is a truly exceptional blend of comfort and functionality.
Traditional slide serrations are replaced with a stylish design that allows the fingers to engage indentations on the slide.
Provides positive contact points for enhanced traction—minimizing short strokes while racking and enhancing safety.
Soft-touch material enhances traction and creates a comfortable manipulation when chambering a round.
Safe, long and smooth 7-9 pound trigger offers the crisp release common to a striker-fired system.
Unique to Taurus, this true double-action only trigger system features a non-energized striker with no pre-cock or pre-load applied—ensuring no contact between the sear and striker.
For additional safety, the Taurus SPECTRUM™ comes equipped with a striker block providing peace of mind for everyday carry.
Keeping safety in mind, the trigger does not have to be pulled to disassemble the gun. Take down requires only one turn on the take down pin separating the slide assembly from the frame.
Soft-touch proprietary polymers are used to improve grip retention in wet or dry conditions—providing a stable, firm grip and maximizing comfort.
I bought this pistol because of its low price, styling, and micro size. I really wanted to like it and keep it, but after having problems with feeding rounds jamming against bottom of feed ramp and an extremely gritty trigger, I tried to contact Taurus customer service. First I called and was put on hold for 30 minutes. I couldn't waste any more time so I hung up and sent a message through their website contact form. I got a note back stating they received my message`;` Nothing else. That was 17 days ago.
Today I called again and was put on hold for 15 minutes. Someone finally answered and was very polite and helpful, but they wanted $50 charged to a credit card to provide a shipping label, or they said I could ship it on my own. Then she said it would take 12 WEEKS to get it back. $50 to ship back a defective product that cost $130 plus $25 FFL fee.
This would put me at $205, which is exactly how much I paid for my Ruger LCP II, including FFL fee. The Ruger is flawless, the Taurus is junk! Ruger customer service has always been excellent for me, Taurus customer service is almost non-existent. Save the headache and spend a little more.
