(4 out of 5) Kinda rough around the edges, but functional.

SOS shipped my .38 Special, 1000 rounds of White Box 9mm 124 Grain, and 1000 rounds of 180 grain .40 S&W White Box, both Winchester Center Fire, very fast, and shipping charges were super reasonable!!. The UPS guy needed a hand truck. These bullets have some weird pitting on them, but they worked well for rudimentary training ammo to get an 81 year old female shooter acclimated to shooting a classic Colt D Frame revolver. It's shot from a revolver so "clean or dirty" is not an issue. Accuracy is fairly good, overall reliability performance is good, but the appearance is sub-par, with small occlusions in the cast bullets. It's not bubbling in the copper, but actual bubbles and pits in the lead, which keeps accuracy from being consistently excellent. With these bubbles in the lead the bullets are not balanced, so some of them were really bad stringers. There were maybe 5 in 50 that had blemishes, and another 3 or 4 that had visible occlusions in the round nose, in the form of bubbles and pits. I assume this is just a questionable batch. I have cast much better bullets myself, in round nose, flat nose, semi-wad cutter, and wad cutter for .38 Spcl/.357 Mag. I gave an extra star for Sportsmans fast shipping, and great service. The ammo is a little disappointing, but .38 Special is no longer a standard popular round, so prices have gone way up.
