Built for exceptional accuracy, the 0.860" diameter, cold hammer-forged, 1/2-28" threaded target barrel model is available in .17 HMR. With a free-floated barrel topped with a one-piece Picatinny rail, this rifle is ready for your favorite optic. Like every Ruger American Rimfire rifle, this Target model features the Ruger Power Bedding® integral bedding blocks, crisp Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger and patented, detachable rotary magazine. The Target model also features a black laminate stock and factory-installed, knurled thread protector. The attractive stock features front and rear sling swivel studs, a metal trigger guard and a rubber buttpad for a comfortable length of pull. The Alexander Henry forend helps to stabilize a shot when shooting from sticks, a bipod or sling.

  • Cold hammer-forged 0.860" target barrel for exceptional accuracy, longevity and easy cleaning. Factory-installed knurled thread protector protects the crown.
  • A 60° bolt provides ample scope clearance and the easy-to-use, receiver-mounted bolt release allows the bolt to be readily removed without requiring a pull of the trigger, a unique safety feature among rimfire, bolt-action rifles.
  • Factory-installed one-piece Picatinny aluminum scope rail.
  • Black laminate stock features an Alexander Henry forend in addition to sling swivels front and rear, to help you steady your aim whether shooting off of sticks, a bipod, or sling. Rubber buttpad anchors the rifle at the rear.
