400 rounds no jam. highly recommend it.
I've shot a lot of AR15s but if you want high quality, out of the box at a good price the MP15 Sport is hard to beat. This item with the Magpul FDE furniture for $499 is pretty hard to beat. I own two MP15s and I've shot my older one a lot...never had a single jam or misfire. I have friends and relatives who have Sig, Bushmaster, Ruger etc and I've seen all of them jam, usually stovepipe on an empty casing, using the same ammo as me. Not a scientific sampling but close enough for me to buy a second MP15.
Bad like Jesse James.
I have only shot 40 rounds through it but it functioned 100% of the time and was highly accurate right out of the box.
Best value and performer in the AR market place. I looked long and hard before selecting the Smith and Wesson M&P 15 Sport II AR. It works perfectly, is accurate, easy to work on and easy to clean after a 500 round plinking/practice session! I totally recommend this product.
The M&P 15 Sport II has exceeded my expectations on all counts. I not only received a totally awesome firearm but I didn't have to get a bank loan to buy it!
First time AR buyer and I think this is a great rifle. Put a beer can about 30 yds away and hit it with my first shot out of the box. Many nice features and backed by Smith & Wesson guarantee. Couldn't be more pleased.
Perfect out of box. Only needed 2 clicks elevation to hit at 250 ft. grouping 3 inches with my poor eyesight. Tempted to buy another.
