These are the best mags the I have, they are so easy to reload and and to exchange. I recommend these mags.
These great looking mags engaged and locked easily into my AR. However, they did not drop freely out of the weapon when the mag release was activated. This was easily remedied by using a razor knife and fine sandpaper to remove the small ridge on the upper sides created during manufacture where the two sides are bonded together. A minor issue considering the great value.
To get the mag to fall completely out of the magazine well, they require smoothing out of the casting flanges where the two halves were joined together. You can use a razor knife and a little sandpaper on the portion that fits into the mag well. The mags will then drop freely from the weapon. Great mags, work great!
I had to remove the casting flashing on the upper half of the mags with a razor knife and a little 120 grit sandpaper to allow the mags to fall free when released. Also, there is no way my fat fingers will depress the 2 for disassembly, you will need something like a key for this procedure.....not exactly tool-less. However, these are great mags and I would buy again and recommend to anyone! P.S. to Amend: How about making some for that AK47!
