Mossberg 590 Shockwave 12 Gauge Pump-Action with Marinecote Finish

The 590 Shockwave pump-action firearm features a 14-inch barrel, pistol grip and overall length of 26.5 inches.  This compact 12-gauge has all of the features of Mossberg’s legendary pump-action platform combined with the latest innovation from Shockwave Technologies, their Raptor® pistol grip, and a strapped forend for improved handling.

At the core of the 590 Shockwave is Mossberg’s field-proven design which includes non-binding twin action bars; positive steel-to-steel lock-up; an anti-jam elevator; dual extractors; and Mossberg’s universally-recognized, ambidextrous top-mounted safety. The durable, yet lightweight receiver is constructed of anodized aluminum with a Marinecote finish, and for convenience, the magazine tube features a clean-out cap. This 12-gauge is 2 ¾ and 3-inch capable with 6-round total capacity and features a 14-inch barrel with bead sight and matte blue finish.

The accessory grip by Shockwave Technologies provides this 590 with its unique moniker. The Shockwave Raptor pistol grip features an enhanced textured finish and has a “bird’s head” shaped-profile, allowing for maximum control while minimizing felt recoil. The grip is constructed of durable, glass-filled polymer with non-reflective, black finish and overall length of 5.25 inches. The cob-styled, tactical forend is strapped for greater control and smoother operation.

Classified by the BATFE (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) as a “Non-NFA Firearm,” the 590 Shockwave requires no tax stamp for transfers.
