Thin , light weight and easy to rack once broken in after fifty rounds . Slide lock release , magazine drop much smoother . I sent it back to the laser company due to the shipping must have knocked the laser out , no problem smooth shipping label sent to me and returned in four weeks shot spot on and very accurate . The red dot was boogered up from the shipping. No problem , I sent it to the red dot company since its covered by the warranty. When I received it back off to the range and it was very tight but after fifty rounds the mag went in easier to the gun and the slide lock was easier . The pistol is accurate for a subcompact . It was a great price on sale here at Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore my favorite place to find great products . I have a big smile on my face . This thin .40 s&w subcompact conceals well . I'm confident with it , the red dot is a nice feature but I really don't need it , but its there and holds zero . .40 calipers have a good kick especially in this little pistol. Thanks to Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore , my shooting with various calipers makes me well rounded shooter . I love this store.

This pistol is without a doubt the best in my opinion as an every-day-carry. Not that I recommend it - as I think that you should always do a maintenance check prior to its first use, but you can definitely use this right away out of the box. Excellent recoil, trigger is definitely improved from the original shield as well as the grips. Highly recommend this gun if you are browsing around for a concealable compact, yet powerful handgun.

This is a nice gun that is pretty accurate and feels good in my hand. Love the laser and don't mind that it doesn't have a thumb safety. I carry this particular gun most of the time as it's easy to conceal.

So thanks to the lower price offered by Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore, I have an excellent pistol that is well worth the full price. The function is smooth and the laser is straight on. I prefer the 7 round magazine to pickup my full hand. The grip has a granulated surface texture that locks your hold on the pistol.

WHAT a weapon! WHAT a deal! FAST SHIPPING! Just got my Shield .40 cal., took it out shooting today 08-18-2018. Shot like a dream; put about 200 rounds through it without the first malfunction. Sights dead on shooting right through the bull’s eye with steal sights and lazar, NO ADJUSTMENT. I have been shooting for more than 45 years and State Trooper for 33 years, best shooting weapon right out of the box I ever had. If you’re looking for a concealed weapon to carry look no further, you won’t find a better weapon. I have shot Glocks for over 20 years, Glocks are more expensive and shoots no better. I’m not putting Glocks down; the Shield is just that good. Don’t pay the extra money for a Glock, get a M&P Shield save money and is just as good as a Glock, you won’t be disappointed.

Great deal on this gun. I like having the laser at the range. I like that it's slightly recessed and on both sides. The grip on the gun is aggressive and extremely thin considering it's a 40 S&W. I've carried this gun and I'm glad I purchased it.
