There’s no better way to bring a new “Wow Factor” to your range than to show up with a new Windham Weaponry 5.56mm Arm Brace Pistol. This 9″ Barreled Pistol is accessorized with an SB Tactical Pistol Arm Brace, a 7″ Windham Weaponry Free-Float Railed Handguard and a Hogue Beavertail Pistol Grip. Wow, indeed! Also included is a set of Kriss Front & Rear Flip Sights and a Quick Detach Endplate and Quick Detach Sling Swivel for easy sling mounting. With its 5.65 lb. light weight, you’ll find this new pistol packs plenty of “wow”.
This gun is a little beast. The fit and finish are on par with a more expensive AR. The picture on this site doesn’t do it justice. It also came with a sb3 brace which wasn’t pictured. I was planning on switching to that brace anyway. Saved me some money. I did change out the charging handle and put a geissele ssa trigger in it. I also changed the break to a gamma vg6 and changed the selector to a ambi .It ate up all the different ammo I threw at it. Everything from Hornady match to crap Tula ran flawlessly and accurately. I was gonna get the Daniel defense MK18 but chose this so I would have enough money left over for a quality optic. I was worried I would be sacrificing quality on the gun. That is not the case at all. This is a very well built machine. Windham is just as solid as BCM and DD.
I put a Vortex red dot scope on mine and once sighted in, has been very accurate at 25 to 50 yards. I haven't done any long range shooting with it yet. Fit and finish are excellent. Only issue was the supplied magazine, which initially refused to lock in place unless the bolt was open. After 150 or so rounds, it broke in and functioned perfectly. Not an issue in my eyes, as most semiautomatic weapons require a few hundred rounds to properly break in before you can start to trust them to function properly. I wish the pop up sights were metal instead of polymer, but for a pistol of this quality and price, that looks an awful lot like a short barreled rifle, I can't complain too loudly.
Very handy tool if you attach a red dot scope for keeping squirrels out of ones bird feeder, varmints, pests, etc. in rural areas. Great gun for a farmer, rancher, property owner, camp owner and perfect sized tractor or pick up truck gun. Fun outside range gun as well. WEAR YOUR EAR PROTECTION... THIS BABY IS LOUD!!
