(5 out of 5) Supper quiet with a can
by from Kimbolton, OH on

Less than a buck per round and 2.5 inch at 100 out of a 5.5 barrel . No jams, no peanut butter. If this stuff don’t run in yer gun, you need a different gun. Best buy on the market and you’ll end up with some good brass.

(1 out of 5) Apparently reloaded and more jam than a PB & J

I have a 300 blackout that I have ran a couple hundred rounds of other ammo with no issue. First magazine of the Winchester open tip and it jams during feeding every second or third round. I started looking at the ammunition a bit more closely and you can see cases with signs of heat and inconsistent crimping. Both point to reloads which may contribute to the failure to load. The biggest cause seems to be the jagged leading edge of the open tip bullets. They catch while being pushed into the feed ramp. Just to be sure it was the Winchester ammo, I ran another magazine of a different brand immediately after the constant jam issues and all 30 rounds fed and fired without issue. I’m steering clear of the Winchester open tip ammo from now on and will likely avoid the brand when given the option.
