Customization isn’t for everyone, but custom quality should be. The Premier Series delivers just that. Think of Bergara's Premier Series Rifles as an extension to their Custom Series Rifles, but with standardized features for greater efficiencies in parts production and assembly – providing near custom-quality rifles at prices that are affordable to serious shooters.
The Premier Series LRP Elite Rifle features a Premium 416 stainless steel Bergara barrel, which receives a proprietary honing process at our barrel-making facility, and then continue through another four stages of production to produce the most accurate production barrel we could possibly make. Upon completion, the barrel receives a Cerakote™ finish and is coupled with the Bergara PREMIER action.
The LRP Elite Rifle comes perfectly outfitted in a Bergara Branded aluminum chassis stock. This stock is created in partnership with Mega Arms and Killer Innovations, and is called the ORIAS Chassis. The Orias is CNC machined from solid 7075-T651 billet aluminum, making it extremely lightweight. The Chassis features a self-adjusting recoil lug locking system, keymod rail sections for accessories, an AR15 style grip, and a Magpul™ PRS® Butt Stock. When combined with a Bergara Barrel, as well as the Bergara Premier Action, this rifle claims its “elite” name for long-range capability.
First, I have purchased many firearms from SOSS, however this Bergara Premier Elite was not. I purchased mine elsewhere. With that being said, if you are on the fence about purchasing don’t think to long. 2019 Bergara catalog shows discontinued. Do your research on this model. Truly a hand fitted LR rifle. Yes, I own one and can’t say enough good things about it. Amazing fitment, quality parts and accuracy with a Sig Tango 4/50mm scope on a 20 moa rail. Talking up to 1300 yards here. The Bergara Premier is still in production for 2019 but once again for a little extra monies the Elite is a no brainer. Best pick one up soon. If I could find the .308 version I would buy that also. Thanks to SOSS for letting me post in the review section.
