Hornady® is taking the 224 Valkyrie to new heights with this load, featuring a new 88 gr ELD® Match bullet, achieving a velocity of 2,700 fps and a ballistic coefficient of .545 G1/.274 G7.
The ELD® Match (Extremely Low Drag Match) bullet features the Heat Shield® tip, which resists aerodynamic heating and retains its shape to deliver highest-in-class ballistic coefficients. Its optimum secant ogive and boattail design contribute to superior accuracy and extreme consistency from bullet to bullet.
