(5 out of 5) BUL Ultra is well made, lightweight, and accurate
by from Hampton Roads, VA on

The pistol is very compact and light weight. Fully Loaded with 9x124gr JHPs, it is a half ounce shy of two lbs. It is about the size of a Walther PPK type 380. I fired a variety of ammo and the only problems I had were with shorter length JHPs. They did not feed reliably. Longer, 124Gr and 147 Gr JHPs fed reliably as did Winchester and MAGTECH FMJ.
The pistol is very accurate, slide to frame fit is very well done. Rear sight is click adjustable, which made sighting the pistol is very easy. The trigger is super and rest very distinct. No mushy feel, crisp, light, and controllable. I shot out to 25 yds., and found the pistol very easy to shoot well.
Takedown is unique and the owners manual says to use a paper clip to insert into the recoil spring rod to relieve tension during takedown. I tried that but, today's paperclips are so flimsy that it bent and sucked it right into the little bushing that keeps the guide rod in place. Overall initial impression is that the pistol is well made, accurate and easy to shoot well.
