(5 out of 5) 44 Magnum Magnum - WOW!
by from Lake Bluff, IL on

I call the 429 DE Magnum the 44 Magnum Magnum or 44 Magnum2.  This ammo is AWESOME! Way more powerful than the regular 44 Magnum rounds. Did I just say that regular 44 Magnum rounds Yes, I did. Some may agree with me, that nothing compares to firing 44 Magnum in a revolver vs. the Desert Eagle. Don't get me wrong, the Desert Eagle is an awesome gun, but make no mistake, with the Desert Eagle, the energy felt from firing a 44 Magnum differs greatly when compared to firing the regular, I said it again, 44 Magnum via a revolver, due to the recoil absorption in the Desert Eagle. But, firing the 429 DE Magnum in the Eagle definitely is comparable to the 44 Magnum being fired from a revolver. Its got a lot more punch in the Eagle for sure. The 429 DE Magnum also seems to recoil straight backwards vs. the 50ae, which seems to muzzle up and twist to the left.
That said, the 429 DE Magnum has some amazing power and seems way more controllable than its 50ae brethren. After firing a box of these puppies I did not feel warn out like I did the 50ae. I wish I brought another box to the range. Twas a lot of fun. Now for the good stuff. You probably know by now that the 429 DE Magnum is new and hard to come by - yet Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore has them for an awesome price. Thanks SOSS for makin' my day :)
