An accurate platform for shooting offhand or off the bench. Thumbhole stocks provide a long consistent surface for an equally consistent sight picture - one of the fundamentals of good marskmanship. This is true for shooting from a rest or out on a stalk. Wood laminate is solid as a rock, and much better looking - you won't have to worry about warping, flex, or any other accuracy reducing movement from this beautiful stock. Other well thought out additions to this model include: two sling swivel studs on the forearm (one for a sling, another for a bipod), a vented forearm to aid in barrel cooling, and, of course, a threaded muzzle with a thread protector cap.
This 350 Legend make an excellent Lower Michigan deer shooter. The 24 INCH suppressor ready threaded barrel - yes 24 INCH & thumbhole Laminate Stock is worth the extra money. The Black plastic stock just felt cheap, same with the camo - This thumbhole laminate stock is much like Boyds quality of stock - Didnt like the looks in pictures, but in real life its nice looking, unique. It is very solid, excellent smooth finish and after a few rounds - I really like how it sits in my hands and shoulders perfect, right on target every time, no shifting to line up. With the help of a lead sled - I bore sighted and dialed in within 3 shots - crazy for me as I am not that good. Rifle shot same holes at 50 Yards - all day long, and same hole to touching holes at 100 Yards. This was with the 150 Gr. Winchester XP ammo and a Meopta Optica6 2.5X15 44mm scope - I pushed a fluffy mop thru after each shot, the quick release bolt made this a snap. Haven't gotten out farther yet, but am sure it will be good at 200 yards. Anxious to see what the addition of a suppressor will do for accuracy.
