The Patriot’s button-rifled fluted barrels are free-floated and have a recessed crown for maximum accuracy. At 22” in length, the barrels are long enough to achieve full-velocity from every caliber, yet short enough for quick handling in the densest woods. The Patriot’s attractive spiral fluted bolts feature an ergonomic bolt angle and knurled bolt handle offering plenty of grip providing for quick follow-up shots and enhanced shooter comfort. Its box-magazine-fed action makes loading and unloading a snap.
This gun is awesome right out of the box, and it shot on target with great groups. I would also add, this would be a great rifle for new hunters since the weight is not too heavy, and the action with the bolt slide is nice. Would recommend anyone to purchase this!!!
I got this gun, put a scope on it with peep sights. The gun performs perfect! Good trigger right out of the box, you can adjust it but I like it the way it is. A little hard to find extra mags. A real eye catcher. Get one!
This rifle looks, feels. and shoots amazing, I am tall with big hands and this stock fits me well. The wood is beautiful. I am a 2-2.5-MOA shooter in general so I cant tell you if this rifle will perform better than that, but it doesnt perform worse. The trigger is incredible, tight and light. My only complaint with it is that the bolt feels a little loose in the grooves when all the way back so I have to ensure I push it straight forward when charging it or it can bind, not a deal breaker though.
Overall the Patriot is a great hunting rifle, and undervalued at the price Sportsman Outdoor Superstore is selling them at. I took my first deer with it this year and hopefully will take many more in the future.
Shoot more than 100 rounds. 100 yards withing 3 consistent with any round, no exceptions. Tried Federal 150 Grain, NATO 147 Gr. Took it to a long rage, and was not disappointed. The rifle performed like it was designed for it. 3 grouping out of 15 rounds, no cooling brakes. Rated it 5 all across the board. P.S. There is a video on YouTube with some dorks badmouthing and bashing the rifle, changing scopes, cleaning it, and not getting consistent results. Well, good shooter never misses.
