The P22 changed everything. Walther adapted the tactical styling and Performance Design concepts from their centerfire handguns and applied them to the .22 L.R. This created a new movement in the design of contemporary rimfire handguns … and an explosion of imitators. As a stylish, fun gun to own, the P22 is at home on the shooting range, around the camp or in a museum of modern art.

(5 out of 5) Walther P22Q a great gun
by from Keene, TX on

Got it in today and put about 400 rounds of different ammo thru it. Cycled prefect with only one misfire probably the ammo not the gun. Used, CCI mini mags, CCI standard velocity, Federal bulk box, Aguila Rifle Match and Aguila Super Extra. All 40 grain. Wonderful gun. No problem with the mags, Just wish I had a few more. I was able to get 3 and 4 inch groupings at 7 and 15 yards. I have 3 other 22 handguns and this one is the best so far.

(2 out of 5) Poor Design
by from Castle Rock, CO on

I believe the clip design is the major malfunction. The gun came with 2 clips. On one of the clips the top edge metal was not rolled over to contain the bullets so you couldnt load the clip. The clip that I could loaded did not load tight. When you manually cocked the gun you could usually get a bullet to load but it would always jam when you fired it once. I could not shoot 2 bullets in a row.
