I love this handgun and would have given it 5 stars but I had to send it back to Sig Sauer because the iron sights kept coming loose and drifting. Not a big deal with the optic as the primary site but annoying and inconvenient none the less. I upgraded the trigger system and replaced the Romeo red dot with Holosun ACSS Vulcan optic. Now the firearm is one of my favorite platforms.
I have had to return my slide to Sig Sauer Warranty Department twice since buying the handgun in 2020. In both instances, the front sight had drifted off center. True this is a red dot configuration and the iron sights are not used often but they need to stay aligned. The handgun works smooth in every operational aspect but I was extremely surprised and disappointed that the iron front sight would not stay in place. That is my reasoning for the 3 5 3 rating.
The handgun action is Sig Sauer Perfect...but the Romeo One Pro optic needed considerable adjustment to both the Windage and Elevation. I was expecting it to be zeroed in and cowitnessed right out of the box. It was not. If you are new to red dot sights, as I am, you may be disappointed the first time at the range. I will do a follow-up review in a few weeks.
