I'm a pistol novice. This was my first pistol and I really like it. I shot a Glock at the range and did not like the grip angle. I much prefer the S&W grip angle and texture. My instructor is a Glock guy, but he liked the S&W subcompact very much. He said I made a good choice and that I'd get years and years of good service and so far I have. I've shot about 700 to 800 rounds of many brands of ammo without failures. I like being able to carry this subcompact with its standard 12 round magazine, but then drop in the S&W 15 or 17 shot magazine for the extra firepower. Yes, I use the spacers for a continuous grip. I have no complaints about the trigger. The only upgrades I've thought about is a set of tritium sights for low light shooting, and maybe a small bit of skateboard tape on the frame to match the aggressive S&W grip texture for my left thumb to index on. I am very happy with my purchase.
