Get your hands on Mossberg Patriot rifle, coupled with a 3-9x40mm riflescope. The Patriot series of bolt-action rifles combines the most requested features of Mossberg's field proven centerfire rifles in a re-engineered bolt-action platform. Hunter-inspired, the Patriot features a streamlined bolt handle, aggressively-checkered bolt knob, spiral-fluted bolt and a classically styled stock. Modern textured stippling on the sides and bottom of the forend and grip provide for a positive hold in inclement weather, and the straight comb design with raised cheekpiece provide comfort and less felt recoil.
Providing great value is a hallmark of the Mossberg brand and the Patriot/Scoped Combos are a wonderful addition to Mossberg’s ready-to-take afield, value-added packages.
Love this rifle, will be buying more of the patriots in different calibers.
Will here. I order my Mossberg Patriot 300 Win Mag Bolt-Action Rifle with Dead Ringer 3-9x40mm Scope. Its my first bolt action rifle and I like it. It took a totally of 3 weeks to get it. Week and a half to ship out and one week hold, holds suck. I took it out for the first time and I have to say, I need a Witt Machine muzzle brake. I dont know much about scopes but the Dead Ringer is clear. As for 0 it out at 100 yards, it didnt happen. I dont know how to adjust elevation & windage. I bore sighted it at range 50 yards, and bullets were an inch and half away from target. I turn the dials too much in one direction and couldnt figure out how to fix it. With an ammo shortage and no muzzle brake, I called it a day. Im happy with Sportsmans, so I just order a Savage 93R17 FV 17 HMR Bolt Action Rimfire Rifle. I have 400 hundred rounds of 17 HMR, so I tune the Dead Ringer with the Savage, and order me an Arken SH4 6-24x50 Gen 2 along with Witt Machine muzzle brake. Thanks Sportsman.
