Like no other pistol, Glocks permit almost unrestricted compatibility of magazines within a caliber. For instance, standard magazines can be used as backup. Compact and subcompact Glock model magazines can be loaded with a convincing number of rounds i.e. Glock 26, up to 33 rounds.
The polymer frame of the Glock pistol does not require grip shells resulting in considerably more space for the magazine body. This means double-row staggered cartridge configurations are comppatble.
Glock magazines have a stiff metal tube encased in a high-tech polymer that resists deformation even when dropped from a great height or exposed to extreme environment conditions.
