I bought this gun a cpl weeks ago and finally had a chance to go shoot it. I LOVE THIS GUN, it performed as it was supposed to it cycled different ammo the only jammed happened when I tried a lower fps round than recommended.....Other than that it was great, Shut the whole range down.
I knew of a few issues before buying the weapon system but it has had multiple failures and issues. The mag spring stick down so it wont cycle more than 1 round. The hand guard screws came loose first shot. Other screws appear to be loose as well. Mag release sticks removing and inserting a mag. Bolt catch is a pain. Obviously you cant adjust the butt stock length and the cheek rest isnt very ergonomic. Customer service is the worst thing ive dealt with and basically got number after number and site after site all bringing me back to where I started which was with a gun that may as well be a single shot 12 gauge
Very nice experience, shipping as expected. Box was missing cable lock and owners manual but no big deal breaker. Thanks Sportsman Superstore I already have guys wanting me to forward your site to them.
I received the Boss 25 in just a few days of ordering back in January of 2022. Unfortunately the choke was stuck in the barrel and it had a burr inside the choke. I had it for 3 days and sent it back for warranty repair. And as of today 4/22 i still dont have it back. Repair time is 60 to 120 days. So I really cant tell you how it shoots.
This the coolest 12 gauge I’ve ever seen. You get the look of an AR-15 with the power of a 12 Gauge shot gun, win win
Absolutely worth the money.
I see there's the American finish in black and desert tan, but I'm looking for Olive drab green. I already own the desert tan, and black is too basic for me. Olive drab green would be perfect. The shotgun's action is amazing after the 50-round break-in and cleaning period. At the beginning, there were rough jams and misfires, but as you shoot more, it breaks in. I upgraded to a 9-round extended clip and then a 20-round drum magazine. The shotgun has minimal kick and recoil, with 1 oz slugs grouping 3 inches at 75 to 100 yards using a 20-round drum mag. I just wish there were more aftermarket attachments, upgrades, and customization options available. I'd still like to have one in olive drab green, or even other colors that aren't military or camouflage-themed. More color and pattern options for the finish would be great.
Was excited for an AR-style semi-auto shotgun after seeing videos of the same gun operating flawlessly, that is, until I received my Boss 25.
The gun has never fired a single shot! It jammed after chambering a 1300+ fps 3” 1.25 oz round. The charging handle is stuck. I even tried mortaring the gun to release it with no success. You can’t take the gun apart without pulling the charging mechanism back 1/8” as the instructions say, but mine is completely stuck.
Legacy Sports customer service is a joke and ghosted me after a few emails back and forth.
