The TP9DA was designed to give shooters the ability to carry a double-action/single-action style trigger in a modern polymer frame. The user-friendly decocker system enables users to carry the TP9DA with an extended first trigger pull, similar to traditional hammer-fired pistols. It is an ideal size compromise between a compact and full-size handgun featuring a 4.07” match grade barrel and interchangeable backstraps for a custom fit.
The Canik TP9DA is a great firearm. I've put a few hundred rounds through this with no issue and found it to be highly accurate and manageable. The size and weight are good, and recoil minimal. Sights are easy to retain and trigger is fantastic. The ability to de-cock to DA is a great option for a non-safety system IMHO. I had out in desert conditions recently with some buddies with Glock 17s, and they came away preferring the Canik, loving the feel and accuracy. Pistol includes a couple of mags, speed loader, holster, and a bore brush in a hard shell case. It's a definite bargain for a quality handgun!
