This Davidson's Exclusive model Glock 17 has a custom FDE cerakote finish.
The brand new Glock 17 Gen5 9mm pistol was inspired by the GLOCK M pistols used by the FBI and includes many features the GLOCK community has been asking for. There are over 20 design changes which differentiate the G17 Gen5 pistol from the G17 Gen4 predecessor, including a flared mag-well, a new nDLC finish, the GLOCK Marksman Barrel, ambidextrous slide stop levers, and a grip which has no finger grooves.

Need I say more, it's a Glock, worked perfectly for the first 100. FDE coating is perfect, but all of the Glock copper colored grease was removed by the coater and not reapplied, so a good lube was needed before firing. The backstraps are uncoated and black, seems odd they didn't coat those, but thats OK with me since I don't use them anyway. Placed order Saturday and the gun arrived at my FFL on the following Friday. Prices of guns still a little high but getting better, and availability and delivery has improved.
