The Mossberg MC2sc 9mm pairs a 3.4-inch barrel with an optic-ready slide and a slim polymer frame. This item 89025 package includes three magazines: one flush-fitting 11-round magazine and two extended 14-round magazines. It is the version without an external manual safety.
Three Magazines Included
The flush-fitting magazine keeps the grip compact, while the extended magazines provide additional capacity. Both sizes use a double-stack design. Use the flush magazine for the shorter grip profile or choose an extended magazine when you prefer more room for your hand.
Optic-Ready Slide and White 3-Dot Sights
The MC2sc has an optic-cut slide for a compatible micro red dot, along with dovetail-mounted white 3-dot sights. The 416 stainless steel slide and barrel have a black DLC finish, and the slide features front and rear serrations.
Compact Dimensions
At 6.25 inches long, 4.30 inches high and 1.10 inches wide, the MC2sc is sized for concealed carry. Its glass-reinforced polymer frame has a textured grip and a reversible magazine release. The flat-profile trigger includes an integrated blade safety, even though this variant does not have an external manual safety.

Purchased this gun when it was on sale and I’m so glad that I did. With the tax and transfer fee at my local gun store, the total cost was $441 and that’s still a hell of a deal compared to the retail price at other gun sites and stores. Love the grip texture. I live in South Florida so it gets hot and humid and it feels great in the hand. The sites are nice and low and later on can’t wait to put a red dot on the gun. Shoot very well, I find a recoil minimal, the Hellcat and P365 snappier compared to the Mossberg. Definitely consider putting this gun on your radar for a possible every day carry.
Mossberg hit this on the head! Put 100 rounds through it no problems. I would definitely recommend it if you want a reliable carry. Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore has been great to deal with!!
What can I say? This MC2SC absolutely rocks! So glad I bought this and couldn't he happier! Put several hundred rounds through it, with no issues. This will exceed your expectations. IS my EDC. Consider it for yours....worth every penny.
I bought one of these for my wife and an Arex Delta 2 for myself sight unseen. The Mossberg is so much better than the Arex in every way. 100% perfect function and reliability with all sorts of left over 9mm ammo. Great trigger - no snappy recoil - very comfortable in the hand with nice non-abrasive texture. Nice trigger, too. Pretty sure I am going to buy another one for me!
From Beretta, Glock, Springfield, S&W and Taurus...I am simply shocked by the quality, size/weight, carry and how well it handles. Equal push into hand with slight barrel rise when shooting. I would NOT call this a snappy shooter like the GX4 or Hellcat that stings my hand when I shoot it. Shoot this and I have zero hand discomfort after many rounds. Most of these micros are hard to practice with because, well, it hurts lol. How sad to learn Mossberg will no longer have the handgun production in 2026, so when they are gone they are gone for good. Ugh. I'm going to buy and store extra internals, mags, and slide, just to make sure I have them if they become hard to find. Gun will probably outlast most of us so its probably not even worth doing that.
Mossberg, a name I never associated with handguns. What a pleasant surprise the mc2c 9mm is. Great sights, shoots great, decent trigger. A safety would have been nice but I have learned to carry without. Decent, very well built gun, especially a great deal on sale.
I have 5 of these, one I gave to an adult niece after running it through the paces. The 2C and 2SCs all shoot flat and are, for their class of firearm, quick and easy to realign back to target, shot after shot. 124 and 147g. From 10 yards, quick shooting, they just track great! I did disassemble each one and clean and lube as soon as I got them. Pay attention to cleaning and DRYING the firing pin, and be careful with those little retainers. They carry easily as well. Cheap holsters on Glamazon, just fix them with better clips. The reloads on this gun are the best I’ve ever experienced. What a shame it’s on the way out...
