This new micro-compact represents the next evolution in concealed carry handguns from Smith & Wesson. Taking on some of the best features Smith & Wesson has ever been able to create, this is the ultimate CCW. Chambered in 9mm, the Equalizer ships with 10, 13, and 15-round magazines. A new optic cut pattern allows the user to mount the most popular micro red dots on the market for enhanced accuracy.

Smith & Wesson has also integrated their easy-to-rack technology to cater to a wide variety of needs in the market. It features a single-action trigger that allows for a short take-up, clean break, and fast reset to make follow-up shots quicker.

The 3.675” barrel gives a longer sight radius for more accurate use with iron sights, and it features a picatinny-style rail to mount lights or lasers for defensive situations. The Equalizer features a new grip texture and pattern designed to give you more control when firing, and more comfort when carrying.

SOSS is the best place to purchase a firearm from. Good prices, fast shipping. 

The gun: Shoots very low with fixed sights that require a 12 oclock hold to hit the bullseye at 15 yds. How is that going to work when the muzzle covers the target Sent it back to S&W, they kept it for a month & did nothing at all, the repair form was blank. Installed a Vortex Optics Defender-CCW, which solved the POA vs POI issue. This firearm should have an adjustable rear sight. 

Now for the holster: I dont like any Kydex holster because you cant sit down with one on unless it is very short. Its difficult to find an IWB with an optic cut that actually fits. I had to return some of them because they were just too short or the cut was too small. If it fits an M&P Shield EZ, it fits the Equalizer. I found that the sticky holster from We The People is the only one. It's listed as Smith & Wesson Equalizer Clipless IWB/Pocket Holster. I have some Ace Case sticky holsters but they don't seem to have any newer models. 

Now the grips & safeties: I am partial to rubberized grips. The Hogue Handall Jr. will work if you cut away the top part of it that covers the top of the grip safety. Just make it a nice U-shape looking at the back of the firearm. The grip safety must be depressed all the way in at the top, the bottom does nothing. The thumb safety does the same thing as the grip safety,` you can leave it off all the time & just ignore it.

Great fun. Easy to load, easy to rack…. Great little gun that works for a large guy too with the extended magazines. Flawless with over 500 shots through it. We paid considerably more than the special deal being offered this week.
