Features a new plate designed for 2022 - This version's rear sight is attached to the slide, as opposed to the plate itself. When the plate is removed, the rear sight will stay intact with the slide.
The P365 redefined what a concealed-carry pistol should be, now the new P365 XL is doing it again. The perfect balance of micro-compact concealability with full-size shootability this P365 XL packs 12 + 1 capacity in a micro-compact, highly concealable size yet maintains the comfort and shootability of a full-size pistol.
The first P365 offered in the XSeries family, the XL comes standard with an extended slide, 3.7” barrel, and the brand new 365 XSeries grip module with extended beavertail and integrated magwell. The new slide and grip module only add about 1/2" to the overall length and height of the micro-compact P365, while increasing the capacity to 12+1 rounds of 9mm.
It still maintains the crisp, clean P365 trigger pull, but with the “X” signature flat profile trigger that breaks at 90 degrees. Also standard are the signature XRay3 Day/Night sights with a rear sight plate assembly that allows direct mounting of the new SIG SAUER RomeoZero or the RMSc reflex optics. Never has so much versatility and capability been squeezed into such a perfectly concealable size.
I was thrilled when my 365XL was delivered. Upon examination, it seemed the slide was stuck or broken. I checked videos on You Tube, apparently the XL slide and the regular 365 slide operate differently, even though theyre almost the same firearm. I contacted Sig Sauer and was informed, this is the way the XL is designed and after considerable use the slide will loosen up. Even the reviewer had a considerable problem pulling back the slide, stating he had to use all his strength to move the slide. I guess my trips to the Gym have payed off, with considerable effort, I managed to pull back the slide. Sig Sauer informed me if the slide didnt loosen up after some use, I was to return the weapon to them for investigation. OK, will do!
The P365 XL is a great gun that I am glad that I bought. It is easily concealable, and I am a thinner individual, as well as comfortable to conceal. I even forget that it is even there sometimes. Shooting wise the gun is great and I am able to control the recoil even though it really isnt that bad for a gun this size. Overall very satisfied with this gun and would recommend it.
I've owned 2 P365s and a G43x. I loved the 12+1 in the P365 but the grips were a little small for my fat hands.. I kept going back to the 43x bulky grip. Now the the P365 is slightly longer.. I'm in love with this thing. It's been my ccw everyday since I bought it. No issues here to report.
